This Health Guarantee outlines what you can expect from us—and what we kindly require from you—to protect the health and well-being of your new puppy.
We guarantee that your puppy is in good health, free from known infectious diseases, and has passed a veterinary health examination within 7 days prior to pickup or delivery.
You will receive:
A signed veterinary health record
Vaccination and deworming schedule
Microchip number and registration
Proof of any additional treatments provided
To keep this guarantee valid, the buyer must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian in Canada within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.
If the veterinarian discovers a life-threatening illness or congenital condition that was present before purchase, the buyer must notify us in writing within 24 hours and include:
A full written diagnosis
Veterinary findings and test results
We reserve the right to seek a second veterinary opinion at our expense.
We provide a 1-year guarantee against severe hereditary or congenital disorders that significantly affect the puppy’s quality of life, including:
Heart defects (excluding minor murmurs)
Liver shunts
Severe hip or elbow dysplasia
Congenital neurological disorders
Life-threatening genetic abnormalities
If a covered condition is diagnosed within the first year:
We will offer a replacement puppy of equal value from the next available litter.
The buyer may keep the original puppy.
No monetary refunds are issued.
This guarantee does not cover:
Parasites (common and easily treatable)
Minor, non-life-threatening conditions (e.g., hernias, under/overbite, minor murmurs)
Illnesses caused by neglect, accidents, improper diet, or lack of veterinary care
Heatstroke, dehydration, or injuries
Allergies or environmental sensitivities
Costs associated with diagnostics, treatment, or emergency care
We cannot guarantee adult size, weight, temperament, coat color, ear/tail set, or conformation.
To ensure the health guarantee remains valid, the buyer agrees to:
Provide routine veterinary care
Keep the puppy vaccinated according to Canadian guidelines
Maintain a healthy diet and safe environment
Avoid strenuous exercise during growth (important for joints)
Prevent exposure to contagious environments until fully vaccinated
Failure to follow these guidelines voids this guarantee.
If a serious hereditary condition covered under this guarantee is confirmed:
A replacement puppy will be offered once documentation is received.
The buyer is not required to return the original puppy unless recommended by a veterinarian for humane reasons.
Shipping or travel costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
